Curriculum

Instilling a joy of learning

With a student to adult ratio of 4-1 each child receives lots of attention.

Our curriculum is designed with the flexibility to offer the challenge and to satisfy children’s changing interests and needs.  It is based on our belief that children learn most effectively through active exploration and interaction with their environment.

We operate two sessions, from 9 am to 12 pm (Click here for a daily schedule).

Tuesday and Thursday - The emphasis of the two-day program (must be 3 by September 1st of that year) is to encourage social and emotional independence, while strengthening communication skills.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday - The three-day program (must be 4 by September 1st of that year) builds on the previous year’s experience, plus stimulates abilities toward kindergarten readiness: discovery, critical thinking, and the joy of learning.

There are 24 children in each class, usually 12 boys and 12 girls, led by two teachers (find more information about our talented staff here) and 5-6 working parents.  Children are encouraged to explore their world by participating in various daily activities in areas located throughout the school.

We increase the challenge and complexity of the program throughout the school year with multi-level activities as the children develop their understanding and skills.

Extracurricular activities are also a part of the program, with classes offered after school.
